About
I’m a self-taught web designer and content creator with an unconventional route into digital marketing - one that started on canvas, not a screen.
After earning a BA in Fine Art in Essex, UK, I spent 12 years in London working as an artist's assistant for renowned artist Damien Hirst. My focus was on realistic oil paintings alongside various art technician responsibilities, including training new staff members.
In 2022, I moved to Nelson and continued to create my own artwork. It was here where I started focussing more on social media marketing, and started creating my first website. For the past year, I’ve volunteered as the social media content creator for the Nelson Suter Art Society. In this role, I film and photograph exhibitions, edit and publish reels, stories, and posts using Canva, CapCut, IMovie, and Photoshop.
I then re-designed their website and introduced a commerce section where people can buy art online. I maintain and update the website regularly.
What began as volunteering became a genuine passion. I love the mix of visual storytelling, strategy, and the hands-on craft that digital content and web design demand - and now I’m looking to bring that work ethic and eagerness to learn into a dedicated role in content creation, graphic design or digital marketing
